Celebrating One of America's Greatest Roads!
The Iron Mountain Road Visitor Center & Store offers a unique shopping and educational experience. Nestled in the Black Hills of South Dakota, we are located on picturesque Iron Mountain Road at Spokane Creek Cabins & Campground about half way along this 17 mile drive. We open mid-May and close November 1. However, some of our merchandise can be purchased in the off season.
Education - The Story Behind the Road
We are dedicated to helping guests learn about and experience this great road. Stop by to get information on the history and making of Iron Mountain Road or to get tips on all the cool things to look for and do along the way. The Visitor Center has maps of the area, tourist information and brochures. We are always happy to help navigate your journey.
